Monopole Instillation Carlisle

This recently erected monopole will provide Verizon service throughout the southwest industrial area of Carlisle, including the UPMC Medical Center. The tower is perched on a 7-foot diameter caisson, drilled 42 feet into the earth.
In these pictures, crew members preassembled tower components then, lifted the 12,000-pound base section into place with a crane, and guided the other sections together from atop the tower face.
